Description
On January 13th, Mr. DuBray, a Sioux Indian from South Dakota who studied at the Seminary, came to talk about his experience on the Reservation and the tribe.
On January 20th, Mr. Carter came to talk about the ongoing social political change. He explained the proposal behind the 17th (Prohibition) and 18th (Women’s Suffrage) Amendment, as well as a Supreme Court case on segregation, possibly Buchanan v. Warley.
Departing teachers: Mr. F. A. Heuer and Mr. R. R. Harley.
Students were happy to know that the nearby theaters would remain open during then war.
