Description
November 24th, first dance of the school year. There were some opposition to the dance, namely its incompatibility with the present war. It did take place in the end, and the dance raised some money for the Red Cross.
Homer L. Ferguson came again to talk about the methods taken against submarine warfare.
Captain R. P. Williams, an alumnus and former teacher, came to talk about the arrangement of the U.S. Army during the war.
Dr. Rollins read a letter from Dr. Bell, who had gone to France to become a war-time chaplain; the school contributed to part of his funds for the trip.
