Abdykerim Sadykov's Life Story

Abdykerim Sadykov

Abdykerim Sadykov was born in Bash Karasu in 1889. Bash Karasu, like Uzuk Tur, is a small village outside of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Sadykov had a similar experience to Seid-Akhmet, where he was fortunate enough to get an education at the Russian-run schools in Bishkek. He got a job working with the Russian Government. Unlike Seid-Akhmet, Sadykov worked as a mediator and would be a middle man between the Kyrgyz and Russian Government whenever they had disputes. He had the same dilemma as Seid-Akhmet, where he had to decide whether to side with the Communists or the Russian Empire. They both decided to create the Kyrgyz Communist party and found success in continuing their careers.
Sadykov went through the Alash Orda experience with Seid-Akhmet, and they shared their struggles for independence. Unfortunately for Seid Akhmet, he was noticed by the Communist government way earlier and was arrested and sent to jail in 1931. After seven years in the local prison, the communists took Sadykov to the Ata-Beyit sanatorium, and they executed him and many others who signed the Alash Orda declaration of independence.
