Family History & Chinese Policies: An Interactive Timeline

From the ruling of the CCP to vigorous modernization and globalization, the meaning of being a woman in China has shifted throughout the past century. In this timeline, I want to establish a narrative that probes the status of women in China through the perspectives of my mom, my paternal grandmother, and my father. Ultimately, the comparison would give the audiences an overview of the extent to which women's roles changed from the Confucius era to the post-Mao era.
