Intermediate Religious Connection

For a large portion of Episcopal's history, chapel and religion were just present in a student's everyday life. Rules were relaxed and chapel wasn't required as frequently, and there was no talk of optional chapel. Students would go to a Sunday chapel at the Virginia Theological Seminary, and would attend fairly regular Bible Study and religious theology classes. Chapel would take place at Episcopal during the week, but it was located in Pendelton Hall and did not have a very religious feel to it.

There was not much change or controversy regarding chapel during this time. Students did attend a Sunday morning service at the church at the Seminary, and another Sunday evening service at EHS. Most students were still Episcopalian during this time.
