Lacrosse at EHS
Since its inception in 1963, Episcopal Boys’ Lacrosse has been a very successful program, garnering a significant amount of attention and years of success on the field. Over the decades, lacrosse has grown to become a facet of the EHS identity, with many students coming from all over the world to play on the team.
After a deep dive into the Whispers' Spring Supplements in EHS Archives in March Library, and a very careful account of records kept by current Coach Scott Conklin, the following records have been compiled. Note that many of the earlier years have incomplete records, this is because the Spring Supplements were student written, and oftentimes the students did not include a lot of the information about the season. The Whispers writers often focused more on individual pictures than the team's record.

Coach Conklin has proved to be indispensable to EHS and the lacrosse program. Two of the most impressive seasons that have come thus far in Coach Conklin's EHS journey were in 2011 and 2021, where the EHS team won the state championship. Although the overall outcome of these seasons were the same, the experience of the seasons were incredibly unique with 2011 being his first EHS championship and 2021 coming after a lost COVID season. Coach Conklin had this to say about the differing experiences:
Lacrosse has changed drastically over Coach Conklin's time at EHS, with the popularity of the sport booming and the overall skill level increasing at the same time. Coach has been around for all of it, and as such has an acute understanding of how the game has evolved having this to say about the changes that have taken place:
